The flatness of mating surfaces maintains the necessary face film lubrication within the mechanical seals, thus directly influences the sealing performance.

Here in MINKIX, though all mating faces are precision lapped, our high end optical flat stand is also employed to ensure that the surfaces are processed to an absolute flatness.
